As noted, at about 19:XNUMX in the evening, the police department in the Darnitsky district received a report of a robbery against a Kiev resident. An investigative team arrived at the scene of the incident.
At the location of the call, law enforcement officers determined that the victim was in a hurry to a business meeting. An unknown man in a balaclava ran up to him, threatened him with physical harm and, using a stun gun, took away his bag with a laptop. He tried to escape from the scene, but was quickly caught red-handed, the police added.
The man was detained and his involvement in similar crimes in Kyiv is being checked.
The investigative department of the Darnytsia Police Department began criminal proceedings on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 187 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The attacker faces up to seven years in prison.
