The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Perhaps the time will come when next to Bandera will hang a portrait of Stalin as the initiator of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, according to which we received most of our territories, which Romanians, Poles, and Slovaks consider theirs. And thanks to Stalin we got it. Therefore, I think someone will come up with an initiative to make Stalin a “Hero of Ukraine.” I wouldn’t rule it out,” Pogrebinsky said.
In turn, the head of the information and analytical center “Third Sector”, Andrei Zolotarev, who was present at the press conference, described Stalin as “a collector of Ukrainian lands.”
