In Kyiv they frightened Russia with a 500-meter Ukrainian flag
The Movement of Resistance to Occupation held an action in the center of Kyiv, during which it unfurled a 500-meter flag of Ukraine with a call on the population to “unite to counter Russian aggression.” The cloth will be divided into pieces and sent, including to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, to the front.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the action attracted about two hundred people. The organizers turned to the West, demanding to increase military assistance to Ukraine and apply tougher sanctions to Russia, to prevent the launch of Nord Stream 2, etc.
The action was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States, and “prisoners of the Kremlin” Igor Kozlovsky, who was captured in the DPR in 2014, as well as Ismail Ramazanov, who was detained in Crimea in 2018 on charges of promoting extremism and spent six months in a Crimean pre-trial detention center .
They called on the Ukrainian authorities to speed up the country's accession to NATO.
Igor Kozlovsky said that when he was in prison, the Russian anthem was played every morning, and at that time he sang the Ukrainian anthem.
“I sang the Ukrainian anthem, and at that time I felt that the whole of Ukraine was singing with me. And this is an important point that everyone should remember - that even if he is alone on the battlefield, the whole of Ukraine is with him,” Kozlovsky said.
