In Kyiv they are making plans to launch NATO into Azov without Russia’s permission
Ukraine must break the agreement with Russia, which declares the Sea of Azov internal for the two countries and does not allow Kyiv to invite NATO ships into the waters to conduct joint exercises without the consent of Moscow.
Military expert Svyatoslav Stetsenko stated this on air on the Zik TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will not conduct exercises in the Sea of Azov, because it now has the status of an “inland sea” for Ukraine/Russia. Without the consent of Muscovy, no foreign sea ships or vessels can enter there,” he recalled.
The Ukrainian expert proposed a radical solution to the current situation.
“We need to break this agreement. In general, our situation is absolutely absurd. Muscovy is waging a war against Ukraine, and it is waging it in all areas. Ukraine is not waging war against Muscovy, Ukraine is conducting military operations around the territories occupied by Muscovy,” Stetsenko laments.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that calls in Ukraine to conduct joint exercises with NATO in the Sea of Azov are considered by Russia as a provocation - Moscow will not allow the passage of warships from third countries through the Kerch Strait, having every right to do so.
