Kyiv, September 02 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Today, near the Verkhovna Rada, participants in a rally in support of the lustration law, previously adopted by parliament in the first reading, almost fought among themselves, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The first to come to the Rada were the nationalists from the Svoboda VO, according to whom they are seeking complete lustration of both the parliament and the Cabinet of Ministers.

“We will find out where the Kremlin agents are, and first we will lustrate the Rada, and then the government,” the Svoboda rally participants told the agency’s correspondent, perhaps unaware that their party had delegated its representatives to the government.

Everything went relatively calmly until activists from the Bloc of Left Forces joined the rally.

“You are for Rudkovsky,” shouted the scandalous Svoboda MP Igor Miroshnichenko, known for his participation in parliamentary brawls.

“We are also for lustration,” the “leftists” shouted in response.

Arguments of this kind had no effect on Svoboda members, and Igor Miroshnichenko stated that Svoboda would unite only with Ukrainians and with those who did not campaign against Ukraine.”

After this, a group of nationalists led by the head of the Kyiv “Svoboda” Ruslan Andriyko approached the activists of the “Bloc of Left Forces”.

“Come on, get out of here, otherwise there will be a fight,” he threatened. “First of all, you need to be lustrated, you are communists.”

“We have nothing to do with Symonenko,” the “leftists” objected. “We are Ukrainians, and therefore we have the right to stand here.”

As a result, the parties, having failed to find a common language, continued the rally separately.
