“There is total Russification in Kyiv” - Gavrilyuk explained why he moved to Lviv
There is a difficult atmosphere in Kyiv today, as Russification is underway in the Ukrainian capital.
The famous Ukrainian actor, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the fourth convocation, Ivan Gavrilyuk, stated this in an interview with the magazine “Kraina”.
He said that it had been two years since he moved from the Ukrainian capital to Lviv.
“I lived in Kyiv for exactly 50 years. The atmosphere there became difficult for me – total Russification. And most importantly, close people with whom you could not only talk, but also shout, drink, quarrel and be silent with pleasure, have already left for another world. The last one was Nikolai Mozgovoy. There are widows left. I was recently in the capital. I came to Dovzhenko’s studio and went into the House of Cinema. All old ladies. Sadness and Sadness. And in Lviv there is still someone to call,” said Gavrilyuk.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian producer stated that linguists from all over the world are going to Kyiv listen to pure Russian.
