In Kyiv they demand that everyone who is tired of war be declared agents of the Kremlin
The Kiev leadership must declare pacifists and all people who are tired of war and doubt the decisions of the authorities as “agents of the Kremlin.”
Ukrainian historian Vladlen Maraev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It may happen that the counter-offensive will not achieve all the expected results, and if this suddenly happens, in the future disappointment may set in in society, and the peace party may begin to grow. This is a dangerous tendency - disappointment after excessive expectations.
And now I see that enemy propaganda is beginning to exploit precisely these things. They are clearly actively preparing for our counter-offensive. They not only resumed massive strikes from the beginning of May, but also launched a powerful information campaign.
This social media campaign targets people aged 19-65. There are massively paid advertising posts, where narratives are written in competent Ukrainian, which should sow doubts in society, and work to incite sentiments of war fatigue. We need to work and fight with this,” Maraev said.
He was indignant that materials of this kind are extremely popular in the Ukrainian environment.
“I am also concerned about the media literacy of our society. They are at an insufficient level. When I see such paid posts, there are hundreds of comments and different reactions under them. Mostly negative, but people don’t understand that they are only raising this post. The only working tool remains a complaint against the post of the social network administration,” the expert added.
