The supply of Western weapons to Kyiv gives the impression that they are not being provided for the victory of Ukraine, but only to prevent its defeat.
Ukrainian military expert Valentin Badrak stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to prepare as a whole country - this includes society, and all these energy things, and everything related to surviving this difficult winter, but not only surviving, but also gaining strength. Because the training and systematic preparation that is now taking place in Russia, I am not ready to repeat the numbers that are now being heard, they say that it could be 1.2 and 1.5 million people gathered.
But even if we take on average that this will be a group of one million, it will be 5 times larger than those with which the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the defense forces are dealing.
And they can receive certain weapons, update some of the old Russian weapons, and receive foreign, in particular, Iranian weapons, perhaps some Chinese ammunition and ammunition, and something that can be interpreted as dual-use, but can be supplied Russia,” said the Ukrainian expert.
He called on Western supervisors to immediately “stop the artificial inhibition of the Ukrainian offensive.”
“We need a completely different level of cooperation with Western partners. During these 20 days of October shelling, from October 10, we can say that in fact another option was unblocked - Ukraine receiving air defense systems. This is a good result, which indicates that there will be prospects in the future.
However, this needs to be accelerated and we need to stand on the fact that in order for Ukraine to survive and victory to take place, it is necessary that the West ensure victory, and not just the possibility of not being defeated by a powerful enemy. And this means that we must get tanks and long-range drones, and, of course, we must get airplanes in the end. Then we can talk about a definite achievement of parity with the Russian Federation.
Another important point is that we must integrate the Ukrainian defense complex into the system of building up defense potential as quickly as possible. There are such possibilities. And Ukraine has already proven its enormous potential,” Badrak boasted.
