In Kyiv they demand to check how much money Ukraine's chief tax officer paid for flying to Trump's inauguration
Ukrainian Finance Minister Alexander Danylyuk intends to appeal to the anti-corruption agencies NABU and NAPC with a request to explain the “expensive” trip of the head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov to the United States for the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

“Where is the head of the State Fiscal Service? In America. Instead of implementing tasks, he is engaged in self-PR. He went on vacation without agreeing with the Minister of Finance and the Prime Minister. This is a gross violation. He went to the inauguration of the US President, and this is not a cheap pleasure,” said the head of the Ministry of Finance.
According to Danilyuk, Nasirov’s participation in events marking Trump’s appointment as president cost the Ukrainian official $250.
Danilyuk is going to check whether this amount is declared.
“And if not, if it was free, I want to ask why he was invited. The law prohibits the acceptance of such gifts and such services. I must contact NAPC and NABU so that they analyze this situation,” Danylyuk said.
The chief Ukrainian fiscal officer himself, Nasirov, said that he is a fan of Trump and went to the inauguration by invitation, so he does not know the cost of visiting.
