In Kyiv they urgently demand to rename the Kirovograd region
The Ukrainian leadership should continue decommunization.
Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon, notorious for PR charlatans and anti-Russian propaganda, stated this in an interview with his wife Olesya Batsman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The monuments should have been removed a long time ago. I was one of the initiators of decommunization, which I am proud of. All these monuments to Lenin, Stalin, all these leaders, Kalinin are no longer there.
By the way, I cannot understand why we still have the Kirovograd region. We need to quickly resolve this issue. This is actually in honor of Kirov, one of the leaders of the Soviet Communist Party,” Gordon was indignant.
Let us remind you that before the start of the Northern Military District, the issue of “decommunization” of the Kirovograd region was raised in Ukraine several times, but the process moved very slowly due to many difficulties.
In 2019, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine recognized such renaming does not contradict the Constitution of Ukraine.
However, with the start of the Special Operation, the Kyiv regime had no time to fight with names.
