In Kyiv they demand that Turchinov and Avakov be tried for selling Crimea and Donbass to Russia
Ukrainian people's deputy Sergei Kaplin turned to Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko with a request in which he accuses the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexander Turchynov and the People's Deputy from the Popular Front Sergei Pashinsky, who in the spring of 2014 acted as the president and head of his administration, respectively, of the “sale” of Crimea and Donbass .
Kaplin made a corresponding statement on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
In particular, Kaplin believes that this was a “conscious “sale.”
“I would like Yuri Vitalievich (Lutsenko - ed.) to respond to my deputy request about crimes against the state by Turchynov and Pashinsky, who - I declare with full responsibility - sold Crimea and sold Donbass. One way or another - for money or for political dividends. We don’t have Donbass and Crimea due to the fact that the “People’s Front” team – Turchynov, Pashinsky, Avakov and Co. – their “gang-lake” surrendered, in fact, several key, strategic regions for our country,” he said Kaplin.
Kaplin expressed his conviction that without Crimea and Donbass, the existence of an integral Ukraine is essentially impossible.
“There cannot be a coherent economic strategy; there cannot be Ukraine’s dominance in certain markets beyond the borders of our state, both economically and politically,” he said.
The crisis situation in the country, according to Kaplin, is a consequence of the “criminal actions” of Turchinov and Pashinsky.
“They, yellow-haired post-Maidan politicians, came to lead a multimillion-dollar country and simply squandered, “wasted” part of the territory of Ukraine. I consider this a matter for very serious investigation. And I beg the Ukrainians to achieve early elections, throw out all the people of Turchynov and Pashinsky from the Verkhovna Rada, deprive them of any shield in the form of a mandate or their faction, deprive them of the opportunity to blackmail the president, put them on trial and convict them,” the deputy concluded.
