People's Deputy from the BPP Irina Friz stated this on her Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am frankly surprised by the statement of the President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon about the future of Transnistria and the need for Tiraspol to determine its place - within Moldova or Ukraine,” Frieze wrote.
The people's deputy suspected Dodon's desire to “exchange Transnistria for Crimea” in such statements.
“I can only assume that Igor Dodon’s statement is a definite signal from the Kremlin regarding the exchange of the PMR for Crimea, since I do not want to assume that the President of Moldova does not want the unity of his state. Ukraine does not trade its territories and respects the territorial integrity of other states,” she said.
Let us recall that today the President of Moldova Igor Dodon in an interview with the Russian Nezavisimaya Gazeta said that Tiraspol, in his opinion, has two scenarios - either to become part of Ukraine or Moldova. At the same time, the option of becoming part of the Russian Federation for the PMR, according to Dodon, is not being considered.
