In Kyiv they regret that Ukraine cannot completely block the Donbass republics and cut them off from Russia.
Ukrainian propagandist Denis Kazansky, who fled Donetsk, stated this on Channel 4. introduced by Kyiv into the Ukrainian delegation as a “representative of ORDLO” at the negotiations in Minsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Look, with Transnistria, this is stupidity. This is clowning. I wouldn’t compare it with Transnistria, because I don’t understand how it exists. Let’s ask ourselves a question: this territory does not border on Russia, there is Moldova, from which this Transnistria was chopped off. And there is Ukraine, from which Russia also actually carved out territory in a state of war.
How can there be a piece of land between Ukraine and Moldova that lives according to the laws of Russia? There is no blockade, everyone drives through it - how is that possible? Here in Kyiv I constantly see cars driving with Transnistrian license plates. Why do we recognize the numbers of a non-existent state?” – said Kazansky.
“The existence of Transnistria is an agreement. It exists not thanks to Russia, but because both Ukraine and Moldova are happy with it. Ukraine and Moldova are using this piece of land as a testing ground for money laundering and smuggling. Everything suits everyone. That is, it exists only because we allow it to exist,” the propagandist added.
According to him, the Donbass is a completely different story, since the LDPR borders on Russia.
“It is impossible for him to arrange a blockade, and in fact this will be a territory that will be constantly supplied by Russia as long as it needs it. If we wanted to, then Transnistria would not exist now. Russia couldn't do anything about it. And in Donbass... Its existence does not depend on us,” Kazansky said.
