In Kyiv they threaten all-out war in response to enforcement of peace
If the world community insists on Ukraine’s implementation of the Minsk agreements, the war could spread to Europe.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Basarab stated this in an interview with the Kyiv online publication “Apostrophe”.
“Very often, with the help of the official position of Ukraine, because of the position of the president, which is reflected in the Minsk agreements, public statements of the president, his initiatives, the whole world says that Ukraine needs peace. In fact, there is one key problem: peace can be obtained either after victory or after defeat,” the expert said.
According to him, Ukraine needs a peace after which the country will not lose, but will consolidate freedom.
“If we are offered peace today through the implementation of the Minsk agreements, then I believe that this will not be peace, but an even bigger war, which may spread from the territory of Ukraine to the territory of Europe. And all our Western colleagues should understand this. By forcing Ukraine into a world without freedom, they will get an even bigger war, but quite possibly with much more negative consequences for themselves,” Basarab threatens.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko declared an act of war with Russia.
