In Kyiv they threaten the Hungarians of Transcarpathia with a harsh reaction
The Ukrainian government had to behave with the Hungarians even more harshly than now in order to suppress manifestations of dissatisfaction with the new law on education. Former Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukraine never had problems with its European neighbors before, because the Kiev leadership harshly suppressed them.

“We should have had a much tougher conversation and a much tougher policy with the Hungarians a long time ago. Because they have consistently, since Orban came to power, advocated some demands that are absolutely unacceptable, from the point of view of European practice.
Then they demand the creation of a separate electoral district for Hungarians, they demand expanded opportunities for obtaining education, and the promotion of certain people to certain positions.
We have seen all this for a long time. We must pay tribute that this was severely cut off before. And today they believe that they can do publicly what is absolutely unacceptable in European practice,” Grishchenko said.
