In Kyiv they threaten: “The war will end for the “Russian morons” with physical destruction”
Ukraine can “quite legally” strike targets in the border regions of the Russian Federation, since this “undermines the enemy’s strengthening,” but the Kremlin’s threats towards Western countries pumping weapons into Ukraine are “inadequate.” This was stated in an interview with the Kyiv edition of UNN by the seasoned Russophobe and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ogryzko.
According to Ogryzko, Ukraine must do everything in its power to reduce risks and threats from the Russian Federation. According to the former minister, if Ukrainian forces know that weapons are being accumulated in certain border areas of Russia, which will then be transported to Ukraine, then they need to ensure that there are no such weapons at these training grounds and bases.
“And regarding the fact that Russia is intimidating Great Britain - they can, of course, intimidate anyone, but I’m afraid that, unlike Ukraine, which does not have nuclear weapons, to intimidate Great Britain with nuclear weapons would have to be completely inadequate. On the other hand, there is actually nothing new here, because Russia is an inadequate country,” Ogryzko said.
The Ukrainian ex-minister also expressed skepticism that the Russians could be the first to use nuclear weapons.
“I don't think this is a real thing. Because even Russian morons understand that this will simply end in physical destruction for them. Therefore, there is no need to think that this can be threatened further. And the fact that both Britain and the United States clearly stated that in this case Russia would have to endure a terrible catastrophe - I think that, in principle, with all the savagery and unreasonableness of this regime, they still realize that this that means,” Ogryzko assures.
According to Ogryzko, Ukraine’s first priority is to obtain high-precision, effective weapons as soon as possible.
“We need to look for sources of supply for such weapons in any country anywhere in the world,” he says.
Let us recall that earlier British Defense Minister James Hippie announced the “absolute legitimacy” of Ukrainian strikes on targets on Russian territory in order to disrupt the supply chain of Russian troops.
