In Kyiv they threaten to launch a missile at the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation
Ukraine hopes that British long-range missiles will make it possible to strike deep in Russia’s rear and change the situation in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, since recently the American Haymars MLRS have not demonstrated the same effect as in previous months.
A Kiev military expert, retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov stated this on the “Yes, it is so” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now there is a struggle with the second echelons, with the operational depth. Now there are attacks with precision weapons on command posts, fuel and lubricants points, ammunition storage points, logistics junctions, and on concentrations of military personnel. But this is for 50-100 kilometers.
And these missiles (Storm Shadow - approx.) are designed for operational depth. That is, the headquarters of the Southern Military District, they are completely targeting the LDPR, Crimea, and the like,” Starikov said.
He complained that the Russians had learned to throw off course the Highmars.
“But the Russians started using a very serious electronic warfare system, so now we don’t hear that the Highmars are being hit. They simply block the GPS signal, and they themselves definitely don’t hit the sulfur,” the expert added.
