In Kyiv, Ukrainian activists blocked a Russian gas station (PHOTO)
Kyiv, April 25 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – On Friday in Kyiv, activists of the Ukrainian organization “Otpor” held an action calling on motorists to refuse the services of Russian gas stations.
Activists held a “picnic” action near the Lukoil gas station. Having spread the tablecloth at the entrance, the participants began to eat Easter dishes.
According to the organizers, by buying Russian gasoline, motorists are “financing the occupiers.”

“They will use this money to buy cartridges to shoot at our people,” one of the protesters told a Navigator correspondent.
In addition, according to activists, Ukraine’s energy dependence on the Russian Federation, including gasoline, is a threat to sovereignty, because the current Kremlin power is maintained primarily through energy exports.
To explain the purpose of the action, activists made inscriptions on the asphalt near the gas station. During the action, several cars were stopped, although some who wanted to refuel drove around the “picnic” and got to the gas station from the exit.
One of those filling up with “occupation gasoline” unpatriotically stated that he didn’t care where to fill up, as long as it was cheaper.
