In Kyiv they are stubborn: “We keep two or three more houses in Bakhmut”
Despite the fact that the city of Artyomovsk/Bakhmut has actually been surrendered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Kiev continues to fantasize about encircling the Russian group from the flanks.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former militant of Azov, recognized as terrorist in the Russian Federation, Igor Mosiychuk, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I literally talked with the guys who are on this section of the front, and I want to say that, indeed, two or three multi-story buildings in total have been held by the Armed Forces on the outskirts of Bakhmut since yesterday.
In fact, it is impossible to say de jure that the entire city has been taken, but de facto we all understand everything.
At the same time, there is a counterattack and the pincers are enveloping Bakhmut. That is, the Armed Forces continue to attack on the flanks - something that made Prigozhin hysterical. ...
The battle for Bakhmut is not over, so at the moment when we speak, we cannot say, but Ukraine is making Stalingrad out of Bakhmut. That is, he makes a city into which the most trained Russian troops are involved, a city that has become a fortress,” Mosiychuk ranted.
Until recently, Ukrainian propaganda contemptuously called Russian attack aircraft “prisoners,” but now Mosiychuk insists that the Ukrainian garrison in Bakhmut faced real professionals.
“My close friend, together with his brothers-in-arms, held one of the central buildings of Bakhmut for literally up to a week. They wouldn’t have surrendered it, the enemy would have destroyed it, that’s all, they would have been gassed.
And when they say that there were only prisoners from the Wagner PMC, this is not true. The main assault actions were carried out by militants who had been through Syria, were experienced, and were prepared to storm city buildings.
I didn’t read this from the Internet, but I say it after talking with a dozen of my friends, associates, and acquaintances who defended Bakhmut,” the ex-deputy said.
