In Kyiv, the asphalt on Antonovicha Street fell into the ground, forming a huge dent, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Photo evidence of the emergency was published on his social network page by the former chief editor of Radio Vesti, Andrei Blinov.
“Antonovicha Street, Kyiv. Maybe rename it again, maybe it will help?” he wrote.
“But this didn’t happen to Gorky!”, another Kiev journalist Dmitry Zaborin answered in the comments in the same tone as Blinov, referring to the Soviet name of the street before the so-called “decommunization”.
“And there was a class at Kuznechnaya. There wasn’t even asphalt there,” said Andrei Blinov, remembering the pre-revolutionary name of the street from tsarist times.
