In the center of Kyiv on the Maidan, supporters of ex-president Petro Poroshenko organized a rally against the registration by the Central Election Commission of blogger Anatoly Shariy and ex-comrade-in-arms of Yanukovych Andrei Klyuev as candidates for deputy.

“Common trouble” has united the most diverse layers of “Svidomo”, from tame Natsiks of the C14 type to terry gunpowder robots, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Let us note that most of the “sympathies” of the indignant protesters were directed specifically at the blogger, who recently created his own party. Those gathered held posters: “We are tired of shit”, “Who the fuck is Shariy?”, “Portnov, your trial is coming soon”, “Shariy, chew your ass”, “The judges will sit down” and so on.

The “Svidomo” were especially enraged by Shariy’s supporters gathered on the other side of the Maidan, who trolled the protesters with red balloons.

“I don’t want anything to happen to the citizens of my country, I ask you to cross the Maidan and ask the jokers with balloons, they think it’s a funny Russian joke - Shariy-balloons. Fucking Balloons! Tell them that everyone will be better off if they leave!” one of the protesters called on the police.

In addition, the heterogeneity of those united against Shariy and Klyuev led to clashes between supporters and opponents of Poroshenko.

“Of course he “stole for five years”! Poroshenko has reached zero! There was no army, there was no budget!” – a supporter of the ex-president shouted.

“It was we who came to zero under him, this was greatly appreciated in the elections,” the opponent snapped.

Also in the crowd behind the stage they unmasked the supposed “provocateur Shariy”, who was filming the event, and they hastened to push him out. At the same time, the bald head of People’s Deputy Mustafa Nayem energetically sparkled among the protesters.

In addition, Strana.ua journalist Vladislav Bovtruk was beaten. According to the publication, the victim came on an editorial assignment and intervened in a fight between a supporter of Shariy with a balloon and the protesters who attacked him.

“I came closer to film this incident, and immediately received a blow in the face from one of the rally participants, a man about 50 years old. The blow was so strong that I fell. After which they continued to kick me, already lying down. I stood up and clearly said that I was a journalist, after which they poured water on me and started shouting: “Isn’t it enough for you? Add?" – recalls Bovtruk.

In general, the action ended with an ultimatum to the Central Election Commission until 10:00 on July 4 with a demand to withdraw the candidacies of Shariy and Klyuev. It is at this time that the protesters plan to repeat the picket near the Constitutional Court.

At the same time, the representative of the Ukrainian nationalist group “Black Committee” Bohdan Tytsky ridiculed this entire action, reasonably noting that the majority of the Central Election Commission members who admitted Shariy and Klyuev are precisely representatives of the “Poroshenko Bloc” and allies from the “People’s Front”.

“There is a riot and panic on Facebook. Shouts about "Revenge". Yesterday's gunpowder workers, who called for not rocking the boat, are calling for people to go to the Maidan.

All because of the registration for the elections of Shariy and Klyuev. Now let’s discuss NOT these individuals, but those WHO allowed them there.

The Central Election Commission allowed them. In the CEC, 10 out of 17 members are representatives of the BPP and the NF. Precisely those who are now shouting loudest about “revenge”. Maybe it would be worth going to picket the headquarters of the BPP (aka DOG),” the nationalist wrote.

The candidate for deputy from the Servant of the People, journalist Alexander Dubinsky, reacted in approximately the same way.

“I view this situation as a multi-move completely controlled by Poroshenko. His judges, his Central Election Commission register two candidates who may cause certain protest sentiments in society, and Poroshenko himself uses this occasion to bring people to the streets. You know, in my Jewish childhood such people were called “pots,” Dubinsky said in a comment to the NASH TV channel.
