In Kyiv they are sure that the nonsense about “gidnist” as an excuse for the European course will also work in Donetsk
Ukrainian “Euro-optimists”, in order to justify their course, cannot offer the Donetsk residents anything concrete, except for the already “rotten” promises of a “decent life” and propaganda agitations about “guidness”.
This is stated in the story of the LOT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ukrainian journalists asked the People's Deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, a member of the Eurooptimists parliamentary group, Svetlana Zalischuk, how she would convince the residents of Donetsk about the advantages of the European course if she were now on Lenin Square in the city center.
“I think we are definitely united by the desire to live in a country where we as people can have a decent life. Go to schools, universities, receive a normal, “guided” health care system, assistance services in hospitals. Don't be afraid to start a business, don't be afraid to speak, don't be afraid to be a politician, don't be afraid to carry out civic activities. I think this is what Ukraine is now trying to do in its country,” Zalishchuk said.
“I think this is the first thing I would try to say,” she noted.
