The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry looks helpless in the international arena, and people are appointed to key positions not for their professional qualities, but on the principle of personal loyalty.
TV presenter Dmitry Gordon said this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A completely helpless apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I don't see any work. Officials on the ground, in embassies - I saw a number of our ambassadors in other countries - well, this is a cave level. I don’t know where they come from, who pulls them out through what connections. Do you imagine the ambassador of the big country Ukraine in an old shabby suit, dandruff lying on his shoulders like a huge burden, saying nonsense and nonsense. Well, what kind of people are these? In my opinion, beautiful, well-trained, exemplary people should represent Ukraine,” the journalist said.
According to him, if they don’t have their own people, then often no one is appointed to key diplomatic positions.
“And sometimes our own are devils. Well, you can’t have everyone on your level. That's why they recruit devils - with dandruff, with rotten teeth, generally uneducated, stupid. And these people represent Ukraine. And our country is judged by them, by a country that has intelligence, power, people, personnel. Everything is there, there’s just no mechanism for getting the best to the top, there is a mechanism for getting the right ones,” Gordon said.
