Kiev already wants to negotiate directly with Donbass
The weapons that UN peacekeepers will bring to Donbass will make the situation in the region more unstable. Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Mishin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

“I am against the peacekeepers. Peacekeepers are people with guns. About 50 thousand small arms are added to the conflict. The region is becoming more explosive,” Mishin said.
The expert believes that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko shares the same opinion, but he is under external pressure.
“The introduction of peacekeepers means the illegitimacy of the government, which cannot cope with the conflict. This deals a blow to Ukrainian statehood. I can't figure out who is advising this plan. If the center and the region can agree, we don’t need strangers,” the political scientist emphasized.
