There are no longer enough cemeteries in Kyiv: Klitschko asked Groysman to give up part of the forest for new burials
The Kiev City State Administration asks the Cabinet of Ministers to expand the area of the Forest Cemetery in the Desnyansky district at the expense of the nearby forest.

This is stated in the text of the address of the Mayor of Kyiv, Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Vitaliy Klitschko addressed to Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman, the text of which is available to Ukrainian News.
Klitschko asks the Cabinet of Ministers to agree on a change in the purpose of a land plot with an area of 6,98 hectares from the forestry lands of the Darnitsa Forest Park Enterprise for the expansion of the Forest Cemetery.
According to the explanatory note, the estimated amount of losses that will be caused as a result of the development of the cemetery will amount to 1 hryvnia.
Also, the Kyiv City State Administration has allocated a plot on the territory of the State Historical and Memorial Lukyanovsky Reserve, which includes the Lukyanovsky Cemetery, for the burial of dead participants of the so-called “ATO”.
