“There are no resources for an assault, and there are political circumstances and restrictions. God grant that we have enough resources for defense. Any attempt at a counteroffensive will lead to Russia throwing additional units and equipment into this meat grinder. In addition, there is a danger of using aviation. The conflict will simply gain new proportions, but Russia will not abandon these republics and will not merge them,” Fesenko believes.
