In Kyiv they are already calling not to trust the West, blaming it for the post-Maidan catastrophe
Pursuing their own selfish interests, Ukraine’s so-called Western partners will always call even the most negative Ukrainian processes “reforms and successes.”

Ruslan Bortnik, head of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Western partners are pursuing, first of all, their own selfish interests in Ukraine. Today there is no talk of any modernization or even democratization of the country. These players are participants and hostages of the catastrophic political changes that have taken place in our country over the past three years. They bear joint responsibility along with our government and will never admit the error of their policies towards Ukraine, because this will mean a political catastrophe for them within their countries and economic associations,” said the political scientist.
“No matter what happens in our country, they will call it “reforms and successes,” because to admit otherwise is to admit defeat. We must be extremely critical of any kind of praise and opinions of the West, which has led us to today's political, social and military catastrophe. Their opinion, on the contrary, should become a red light - if Western associations say that this is good, close attention and a search for selfish interests should immediately arise,” Bortnik added.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, right-wing activists held an action in Kyiv on the removal of EU flags from a number of government institutions in Kyiv.
