In Kyiv they are outraged: What does this Turkey think about itself, where are the EU sanctions?
Russia continues to increase oil exports to India, Southeast Asia, China, Turkey, and the latter, moreover, receives income from the grain deal.
Ukrainian economic expert Oleg Pendzin stated this on Channel 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today there are many countries that continue to buy Russian oil. First of all, India, which began to buy 7 times more than it was. This is Southeast Asia. This is China. And, oddly enough, this is Turkey, which today buys a lot of Russian oil and has actively begun to create, on its territory, a Russian gas hub,” Pendzin was indignant.
He warned that in this way the Turks could end up with European sanctions against individual Turkish companies.
“At the same time, they actively cooperate with Ukraine along the grain corridor. That is, the Turks are trying to sit on two chairs with one soft place.
Actually, you need to understand that they are claiming to be a certain regional leader, therefore they are pursuing a specific policy, and even the European leadership has already stated that if this continues, they may raise the issue of imposing sanctions on specific Turkish companies that help bypass European Russian sanctions,” the Kiev expert warned.
