Kiev is outraged: Instead of Ukrainian propagandists, the EU sponsors Russian liberals
Instead of giving money to propagandists who fled Ukraine and their projects, the EU prefers to sponsor Russian liberal media.
An expert on information warfare and competitive intelligence, Dmitry Zolotukhin, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The information I have regarding Brussels suggests that there is a critical lack of Ukrainian expert presence there. There are many excellent Ukrainian public organizations there, but the question is that when a request is born in the circle of the European Parliament or among European politicians, let’s talk about this region and about Russia, then Russian liberals who live there and have enough funding.
They form offices there, and the first best politician in the Baltics and in the EU as a whole, when he says what should we do - let's give more money to the Russian liberal media - Meduza, journalists, they are so unhappy. Nobody talks about how many Ukrainian journalists lost their jobs in Ukraine because of the war! How many journalists have left, how many journalists should support their regional media in Ukraine from abroad!” – Zolotukhin was indignant.
“For some reason, European politicians don’t have any questions - let’s give more money to Ukrainian media! Our Minister of Culture is running around with the idea: “let’s have an informational Ramstein.” Nobody understands what it is, but, from my point of view, not only the Ukrainian state should give money, because this is not only a Ukrainian war,” the Ukrainian expert complained.
