The trial for the murder of Buzina has resumed in Kyiv. Stormtroopers are gathered in the hall
Today in Kyiv there is a trial in the case of the murder of the writer Oles Buzina, where the defendants are two ex-ATO militants, members of the right-wing radical group C14. The hall is filled with representatives of Nazi organizations, led by people's deputies Andrei Biletsky, Andrei Ilyenko and Oksana Korchinskaya.

The lawyer for the accused, Andrei Fedur, challenged the panel of judges. “You are not a competent court to hear this case. During the presentation of the indictment, my clients Andrei Medvedko and Denis Polishchuk were explained the right to a jury trial.”
According to him, the defendants demanded a jury trial. Therefore, Fedur suggested that the judges recuse themselves and begin the process of forming a jury.
The remaining lawyers of Medvedko and Polishchuk supported Fedur’s position. Stormtroopers and lawyers believe that the court is not competent to impose a life sentence without a jury.
It should be noted that on the territory of Ukraine, jury trials have not worked at all since 1920 and exist only on paper, so the demand of Fedur and the company is aimed at actually disrupting the process.
The lawyer of the injured party, Zakharov, emphasized that at this stage the formation of a jury is impossible, and therefore it is necessary to continue the process with the panel of judges that is conducting it.
The court retired to the deliberation room to prepare a response to the accused and their lawyers.
