In Kyiv, talk about the “Korean scenario” is becoming louder
By throwing in information about a large number of Russian reserves ready to go into battle either in Kharkov or in other directions, the Western media are creating the necessary information and psychological background for Kyiv to agree to freeze the conflict and divide the country following the example of the two Koreas.
A military expert, a native of Lugansk, Dmitry Snegirev, stated this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Snegirev, the statements of various Western representatives, such as the one recently voiced by ex-NATO Secretary General James Stavridis, who doubted Ukraine’s ability to return lost territories, fall into the same framework.
“Information was thrown into Ukrainian society in order to create an appropriate moral and psychological climate. And for what? And, probably, to force the political and military leadership of Ukraine to listen to those scenarios, the so-called “Korean scenario,” the expert said.
“Do you think the statements and this wave of information in the Western media, and Stavridis’ statements about the possibility, are accidental? A coincidence happens in Indian cinema when a father recognizes his son by his mother’s socks after 20 years. This is an accident, but for us it is a subtle calculation. When Stavridis actually duplicates the statements of the late Kissinger, this is the third such statement, dear comrades,” Snegirev said.
