In Kyiv, everyone is no more stupid than Arestovich, who has nothing to fear in his America - Ukrainian TV presenter
Ex-adviser of Zelensky’s office, Aleksei Arestovich, who fled to the United States from a safe distance, can afford to change his shoes in relation to Russian President Vladimir Putin and chat from abroad what they are afraid to say in Ukraine.
Ukrainian TV presenter Vitaly Diky stated this on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The journalist was asked to comment on Arestovich's reaction to Vladimir Putin's interview with Tucker Carlson.
“He said that Putin, in principle, is a normal guy, but what did you expect from him? He achieves his goals in the ways that he can, that are available to him. We should actually sit down for negotiations with him,” the channel’s host recounted the thoughts of the fugitive ex-adviser.
Diky replied that “this is his vision.”
“So he changed his mind. At first he attacked Putin there, threw shit at him, now he looks at it differently. And this is probably within the framework of some rules. So there is no particular point in throwing some harsh words in his direction, it is the opposite - it only promotes this person.
To some extent, he says rational things, I agree with him, it's true. I think you understand this, and many people understand this.
We just live in our karma, we can’t say something here, because it causes special tension,” he noted.
“Moreover, people have great fear, because the tendency of tightening the screws and dominating the police regime is obvious, it is striking,” the journalist added.
