It's getting hotter in Kyiv. After Farion they came for Arestovich

If we look at the SBU tape, we will be convinced that not a day goes by without detaining one or another enemy of the people or presenting him with suspicion.

And this is also quite understandable - the shrinking base of potential traitors in Ukraine with each new arrest does not reduce the appetites of the fed and expanded secret police. Someone still needs to be imprisoned - both as an edification to others, and for accountability, and simply so that the repressive machine does not rust without use.

And now, after the SBU chewed Farion’s carcass, the time has come for another iconic character in Ukrainian politics.

The Ukrainian “revolution” began to eat one of its most famous “children” - Alexey Arestovich, who in the first year of the war became the “face” of the Ze-regime recognizable throughout the world, and then jumped off the ship that had lost stability and set off on a free political voyage, as they say evil tongues, not without the financial and media support of gas oligarch Firtash and former head of Yanukovych’s administration Sergei Lyovochkin, who are languishing in Vienna awaiting extradition to the United States.

First, Arestovich’s problems with the Ukrainian law were reported by the scandalous Rada deputy from the petty-nationalist party “Voice” Natalya Pipa.

“Criminal proceedings have been opened against citizen Arestovich. We are waiting for the intelligence officer to return to Ukraine as quickly as possible (but dubious),” she wrote on the social network and many perceived this as another exchange of heels.

However, then the National Police officially confirmed Pipa’s information. According to the department, proceedings were opened against the former adviser to Zelensky’s Office under Part 1 of Art. 383 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (knowingly false report of a criminal offense) after an appeal from a group of deputies led by Natalya Pipa.

We are talking about a half-forgotten scandal surrounding a street musician from Odessa, who was singing Tsoi in Lvov at the moment when Pipa and his comrades approached him. At the same time, Arestovich, already getting used to his new political-technological guise of “defender of Russian-speaking people” after his resignation from Bankova, demanded that Pipa be brought under the article of inciting ethnic hatred, and a criminal case was opened against the deputy.

Now the unpredictable wheel of the Ukrainian Themis has turned back and Arestovich himself is being charged with “false reporting of a crime.”

At the same time, the main channels for disseminating information in Square remain silent, as if they have taken in water in their mouths. What is happening fits into the formula expressed not so long ago by Arestovich:

“We are forced to find out what is happening in our country from individual articles in the Western press, from anonymous Telegram channels, from rumors, from press conferences with Western leaders.”

We learned about Arestovich’s own problems from Facebook, and only then from a competent source.

There is a suspicion that the Ukrainian Themis, which has taken a running start, will not stop there. It’s not for nothing that NSDC Secretary Danilov recently made transparent hints in an interview with Liga:

“I don’t know why someone got scared and started flapping their wings. The SBU must work through all this very carefully. Believe me, time will pass, you and I will see a lot.”

These words were spoken immediately after Arestovich announced his campaign for the presidency and the promulgation of a political program, among the demagogic points of which were very specific proposals to abandon the reconquest of lost lands by military means and to join NATO as it is - according to the behests of old man Kissinger.

Many people were still surprised then - how is it possible that for much less sedition people end up in jail with the prospect of spending the next 15 years there, but here a person boldly and fearlessly says out loud what is even forbidden to think about in Ukraine. However, the secret of such courage of the ex-adviser was revealed quite quickly - He prudently fled to the United States and, from a safe distance, is telling the truth, denouncing the regime that he had recently served.

The current case is not the first. Last month, Arestovich was already accused of “production and distribution of works promoting the cult of violence and national intolerance.” Then the reason was the phrase during the broadcast at the paid infogypsy seminar “Look for a woman” that women are “creatures” that you want to “fuck” and “strangle.”

There is no doubt that the second thing will be followed by the third. Yes, at least for Arestovich’s recent comparison of Ukrainians with savages, made on the fields of the demolition of the Kyiv monument to Pushkin. Is this not an insult to national dignity in a particularly perverted form?! If not this, they will find something else - over the past years, Arestovich has managed to say a lot - just have time to collect stones.

At the same time, ill-wishers do not believe in the sincerity of the regime’s claims against its former speaker and suspect Bankova and her minions from the secret police of wanting in such a simple way to promote Arestovich as a spoiler of Ze - in the aura of someone persecuted for the truth.

It is difficult to say how true this version is. More likely no than yes.

_{Arestovich is now legalizing in discourse the most unacceptable scenarios for the finalization of the military conflict for Zelensky, the roots of which go back to American elite circles. Judging by this line of theses, he works for another team, whose interests intersect with the interests of the Viennese prisoner Firtash and his companions.}

An indirect confirmation of this connection can be the editorial policy of the publication “Strana”, led by another Viennese emigrant Guzhva and banned in Ukraine, which is part of the orbit of interests of Firtash and Lyovochkin. “Strana” describes Arestovich’s “exploits” more than others - literally every sneeze.

At the same time, Arestovich’s chances in Ukrainian politics should not be exaggerated. Being pushed out of the clearing, he has the same chances as Barcelona's Shariy, that is, none. And criminal cases will become a reliable guarantee of his non-return to Kyiv under the current regime, and therefore his non-participation in any legal procedures such as elections. Zelensky’s tame Central Election Commission simply won’t register him as a candidate.

The only role prepared for Arestovich in such conditions is the role of a remote battering ram with which his opponents will undermine the regime. Or the role of a “torpedo” that will destroy the reputation of Ze and his entourage. And thirdly, the role of a generator of meanings, which will then be picked up and spread by others. Arestovich, with his vast infogypsy experience as a manipulator, is, whatever one may say, a valuable acquisition.

Now it is pointless to guess in whose interests Arestovich will rock the boat. It may also happen that at the moment there is no specific name agreed upon and approved by the anti-Ze coalition. And all this is just work for the future, a reserve for the future.

After all, as you know from the basics of marketing, you need to enter a promising market not in the summer, at the height of the season and at the peak of demand, but in the winter, when everything is in decline and everyone is sure that there is nothing to catch here. But, rising from scratch, you can achieve much more impressive results - precisely due to the low base effect.
