In Kyiv they are ready to make an alliance with the devil just to hold by-elections to the Verkhovna Rada and get 12 deputies from Crimea there.
Ukrainian political strategist Taras Berezovets, ideologist of the Free Crimea project, spoke about this at a press briefing in Kyiv. In his opinion, migrants from Crimea and Sevastopol on the territory of Ukraine should take part in the by-elections, but voting in the constituency where they were registered in Crimea.

Berezovets claims that the initiative is supported by a number of deputies from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc and Batkivshchyna, but so far it has not been possible to reach a “global consensus.”
“There is quite serious resistance to this process, which is primarily due to the fact that a number of deputies who associate themselves with Crimea believe that they have a certain right to represent Crimea in the Verkhovna Rada, and therefore unnecessary competition seems unnecessary to them. The situation today is quite precarious,” said the political strategist.
He believes that the situation could be changed by the clear support of one of the major players.
“We will call a spade a spade – a shareholder in the Verkhovna Rada,” Berezovets clarified. – It could be a la some oligarch who will be interested in this project. By the way, Lyovochkin is very interested in this project, because he is confident that he will find a way to win 12 new deputy mandates. We did not negotiate with Mr. Levochkin, it is clear why - due to mutual personal sympathy, but, roughly speaking, this is the case when we can even enter into an alliance with the devil’s advocate, since we understand that we are moving towards the right global goal.”
