Military-colored car explodes in Kyiv

In Kyiv, a car parked in the Podolsk district exploded in a parking lot near a residential building. At the time of the explosion, the owner was approaching the car. He suffered minor injuries and refused hospitalization, the mayor's office said.

According to police, the source of the explosion was in the passenger seat. Therefore, it may be not only a failed assassination attempt, but also careless handling of ammunition/explosives, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The victim's name has not been released. The car had a military-style paint job. That is, it could be either a Ukrainian serviceman, for whom the “partisans” were preparing, or another volunteer, who could be avenged, for example, for participating in showdowns over cash flows.
