“On April 2, at 4:13 a.m., a message was received via the special line “102” that an explosion occurred near the doors of the central entrance to a branch of one of the banks on Borshchagovskaya Street. According to preliminary information, an unidentified explosive device went off,” the report says.
The blast wave damaged the metal-plastic structures and glass of two display windows and entrance doors. There were no injured citizens or other damage to the building.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from the scene of the incident, specialists from the explosives service of the Scientific Research Forensic Center at the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv seized fragments of unknown objects, which were sent for examination. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances surrounding the commission of this offense and taking measures to detain the suspects.
According to the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a resident of a neighboring house said that at the scene of the incident, law enforcement officers found leaflets calling for “wet Russian banks.” According to the TV channel, CCTV cameras allegedly recorded a young man wearing a mask before the explosion.
