In Kyiv, they have set a course for Poroshenko’s departure at any cost – even if Zelensky grows a trunk
There are ten days left before the decisive second round of the presidential election, but Poroshenko’s team has not been able to come up with anything that would help the current president equal the number of votes with Vladimir Zelensky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the ex-deputy head of the administration of Viktor Yanukovych Andrei Portnov.
“I think it already follows from almost all the signs that Poroshenko’s political fate is predetermined. Neither an imaginary drug addiction, nor a pig in a poke, nor Putin, nor other fakes could be attached to his opponent. Time passes, and the incapable president has already exhausted almost all the methods of falsification, technology, bluff, pathos and lies,” Portnov writes in his Telegram channel.
According to Portnov, now, even if Zelensky shows his trunk on TV, this will not only not spoil his rating, but can also be explained as a signal for the fight against corruption and a new state doctrine.
“And now the main choice is not Poroshenko or Putin, but Chikatilo or a total change of agenda,” adds the ex-official.
“Therefore, the key task is Poroshenko’s departure at any cost, whether we like his competitor or not. It can’t be worse after that, even if you try hard,” sums up Andrey Portnov.
