A senior official was detained in Kyiv for creating a criminal organization
The Kyiv prosecutor's office detained the deputy of the Shevchenkovsky district state administration of Kyiv, Viktor Andreev.

About it Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said on Facebook.
“The capital’s prosecutor’s office filed a suspicion and detained the deputy head of the Shevchenko Regional State Administration Andreev, who is suspected of creating a criminal organization that embezzled the property of a territorial community worth UAH 27 million, and also seized funds from private enterprises in the amount of 2 million,” Lutsenko wrote.
As reported press service of the Kyiv prosecutor's office, to seize property, the criminal organization falsified title documents.
“The documents were later used in notary offices to change ownership. After this, the communal property was re-registered as enterprises controlled by the first deputy chairman of the Regional State Administration and alienated to other owners,” the prosecutor’s office noted.
“Under this scheme, five real estate objects (non-residential buildings and apartments) located in the Shevchenko district of the capital were illegally removed from municipal property,” the press service added.
The prosecutor’s office also documented 10 cases of Andreev providing illegal instructions to withdraw cash from the accounts of utility companies under his control for a total amount of about UAH 2 million.
“In the future, the latter used these funds to his advantage,” the message says.
Andreev was appointed first deputy head of the Shevchenko district state administration of Kyiv in September 2014.
