In Kyiv, the head of the Social Protection Fund for Disabled People under the Ministry of Social Policy was arrested for extortion.
Employees of the prosecutor's office, together with the SBU, detained the head of the Social Protection Fund for Disabled Persons under the Ministry of Social Policy for extortion.

Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko announced this on his Facebook page.
“The State Investigative Directorate of the Prosecutor General’s Office, together with the SBU service, recorded the extortion of 700 thousand UAH from the subordinate director of the regional branch by the head of the Social Protection Fund for Disabled Persons under the Ministry of Social Policy,” he wrote.
According to Lutsenko, the amount of the extorted bribe is 10% of the funds allocated to the region for social support programs for people with disabilities.
“Today the attacker was caught red-handed,” wrote the Prosecutor General and published a photo of the detainee and the bribe itself in the car.
