In Kyiv they were worried about the consequences of Arestovich’s aggressive chatter
Representatives of the team of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, with their aggressive and irresponsible statements addressed to other countries, will lead to major foreign policy troubles.
The participants of the broadcast on the Ukrainian TV channel “First Independent” spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter recalled the recent statement by the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, the speaker of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG, Alexey Arestovich, who threatened Moscow with missiles and said that “Putin will finish the game.”
“This is not the first time the current government has threatened its partners with violence. Last year, President Zelensky spoke about the need to create a new plane to show everyone “how strong we are, and we will bomb everyone,” he said this with his annotation - it was like a joke. And the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, reflected on nuclear advantages, saying that if Ukraine had not renounced nuclear weapons, it would now be able to blackmail the whole world. “We need to take this seriously,” commented former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vitaly Zhuravsky. – Because you need to understand how ordinary Russians, the Russian people, with whom you will have to live next to, feel about this - it scares them. Of course, missiles from Ukraine are against Russia. This does not contribute to establishing contacts with the Russian Federation; on the contrary, it worsens it.”
“All this rhetoric not only of Arestovich, but also of Danilov and Kuleba shows: like the president, so is the environment. It’s just that an idiotic environment has gathered that is not conducive to improving relations with the neighboring country. We need to think about how not to fight, but to establish various economic relations, how to get out of the situation of difficult relations,” added Zhuravsky.
The ex-deputy’s concerns were shared by political expert Svetlana Kushnir.
“If we keep shouting and threatening someone, one day it will happen. Provocations will continue until suddenly there’s a fire in the East,” Kushnir warned.
As PolitNavigator reported, Arestovich threatened that in the future Ukraine can reach Moscow with its missiles.
He also claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces inflicted with impunity missile attack on the Russian army.
