Calls to transfer the borders of the LDPR and the Russian Federation under the control of Kyiv can easily be equated to calls for genocide of the inhabitants of the republics, since Ukrainian border guards will first of all slam the last connection between Donbass and the outside world by closing the eastern border.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Because that part of Donbass that is under the DPR is essentially one continuous city, one continuous city, one turns into another, we no longer know where the border between Makeyevka and Donetsk is - it is on all sides.
And suddenly it switches over - as a result, we will have a tactic of surprise capture. And all that he was talking about before that was what it was about, about the planned capture or what? The main thing, of course, is that surprise seizures are reported and announced - now we will have a surprise seizure, get ready. And that’s it, it seems that now I’ve read common sense thoughts, a healthy person, and now you understand that something has shifted out of phase for all of them,” Kornilov said.
“Think about it, they are telling us: hand over the border. Today the hundredth humanitarian convoy entered the LPR. You understand how especially now, during the period of a terrible, unequal struggle for our republics, the fight against Covid, how important humanitarian supplies for medical purposes are now. And what would happen, just imagine for a second, if the Ukrainian troops who are blocking the western, northern border of Donbass also blocked the eastern? Can anyone think about this?
I understand that these “caramels” absolutely don’t care what happens to the residents of Donbass; the more people die, the better, in fact. But where they refer to humanitarian articles in Europe and so on, when they condemn Russia for something in Crimea. But, excuse me, when they turn a blind eye to this call for genocide, this is complete blasphemy,” the expert added.
