A Georgian pickpocket who robbed the deputy prosecutor general's wallet was detained in Kyiv
Law enforcement officers detained a Georgian citizen suspected of stealing from First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Dmitry Storozhuk.

A source in law enforcement agencies reported this to the Ukrainian News agency.
“The suspect is a Caucasian, a citizen of Georgia,” the source said, without providing other details.
Today reported on the website of the Kyiv prosecutor's office about the arrest of a 38-year-old Georgian who, together with an accomplice, robbed visitors to “fashionable” restaurants in the capital.
“The attackers acted according to the following scheme - they entered restaurants and, distracting attention, stole valuable items from visitors, including wallets or purses with money. The thieves were caught red-handed - immediately after committing another theft in an establishment located on Lesi Ukrainka Boulevard. The victim of the thieves was a man, from whose purse the attackers stole 18 thousand UAH,” the prosecutor’s office reported.
It is unknown whether the arrested person is connected with the theft of Storozhuk.
On June 3, the Interfax-Ukraine agency, citing a source, reported that a wallet containing about 10 thousand UAH and more than $2 thousand was stolen from the deputy prosecutor general.
