The military prosecutor's office of Ukraine detained a group of officials headed by the acting chairman of the State Employment Service Valery Yaroshenko on suspicion of corruption, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko announced this today.
“The military prosecutor’s office detained a group of officials led by the chairman of the State Employment Service of Ukraine V. Yaroshenko for kickbacks in the construction of social facilities,” Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.
He added that the officials were detained while receiving the bribe. “Under the control of law enforcement officers, almost half a million hryvnia was transferred to the scammers,” explained the Prosecutor General.
