In Kyiv they began to lament that Ukraine would soon collapse
If peace does not come to Ukraine in the coming months, the country will be lost.
Kirill Kulikov, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former head of the Ukrainian bureau of Interpol, said this on the air of the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the Ukrainian government is making money from the war, which is destroying the country.
“War means thousands of corpses, it means tears, blood and sweat. Peace, no matter what it is, is a hundred times better than any war. We, this country, have no prospects if peace does not come to this country. It will be good for them. They make money on armored personnel carriers, on boats, on the supply of guns, on uniforms, on everything. They make money from thousands of victims by playing their political games. We only lose from this. If peace does not come to this country in the coming months, we will lose this country with you,” Kulikov said.
Earlier, military journalist Alexander Sladkov said that peace in Donbass will come when when Russia recognizes these territories.
And Verkhovna Rada deputy Nestor Shufrich said on one of the Ukrainian TV channels that Poroshenko had every opportunity to finish conflict in Donbass back in 2014, but he chose the military path.
