In Kyiv they whined: Reboot is costly for Ukraine
As a result of internal purges, the ruling parliamentary mono-majority “Servant of the People” will be divided into several groups that may gain some independence and escape the control of their original leader, President Vladimir Zelensky.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Ermolaev said this on the YouTube channel “UkrLife TV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Of course, it will be difficult for us. We will probably pay dearly, both psychologically and economically, for their internal reboot. This reset has already begun: the wheat from the chaff, the fools from the smart. We are entering this process. Well, why do they, for example, need a second training? Life has taught them that they constantly need to start the internal separation mechanism.
And, according to the laws of the genre, from this large mass of breed a dozen or two politicians will be washed away, who will become the same professionals as the previous ones, who will learn the genre of political behavior, and will discover prospects for themselves.
Will they form one party or create some kind of new alliance between the left and the right, for example... But there is no need to expect from them any kind of failure and scattering, like chickens in a hen house. This internal process has already begun.
I don’t know what internal role Zelensky himself will play, how adequate he is to this internal process, how he manages it, or whether he himself may find himself in a situation where someone says: “But our tsar is not real. We are real “greens”, and he is not real.” This intrigue is still waiting for us,” Ermolaev said.
At the same time, according to the expert, President Vladimir Zelensky himself has long lost his initially high level of electoral support due to the transformation of Ukrainian politics into a “carnival.”
“Zelensky still remembers his 73% of supporters. Of course, he has not had such electoral and social potential for a long time, but, paradoxically, the image of his new team, which is now separating the wheat from the chaff, still retains its position as the center.
I don’t know whether Zelensky and his political consultants will be able to form more stable moderate wings in Ukrainian politics and construct them before the upcoming elections to local government and parliament. And whether they will be able to get out of the state of that fake carnival life and make it more rational and understandable to the voter, in which the voter will hear answers to their life questions, I also don’t have an answer,” the expert concluded.
Let us recall that earlier Andrei Ermolaev said that Ukrainian economy is facing collapse due to industrial stagnation and the risk of the state losing control over strategically important areas, which may soon end up in private hands.
