In Kyiv they said that Trump is obliged to give Ukraine weapons for free
The United States is obliged to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons, free of charge, because it was Ukraine that made the greatest contribution to the security of the United States by abandoning nuclear weapons.
Ex-Minister of Defense Anatoly Gritsenko stated this on TV channel 112.
According to him, by the very fact of abandoning nuclear weapons, Ukraine saved $400 billion for the United States.

“If there is in the world, and there are about 200 countries in the world, there is at least one state that has made a greater contribution to the security of the United States, it is our state, which surrendered nuclear weapons, saved about 400 billion dollars for America so that they did not maintain this nuclear shield , fearing an attack from our territory. We have removed this threat. No one has made a greater contribution to defense and security than Ukraine. Therefore, to say that they could give or sell lethal weapons are incomparable things; they simply have to do it,” Gritsenko said.
