Kiev announced the creation of a “union with Belarus” state with Tikhanovskaya at its head
Ukraine needs to officially recognize the leaders of Belomaidan as the government of Belarus in exile and accept Svetlana Tikhanovskaya at the level of the country's president.
Political scientist Taras Berezovets, who serves the interests of ex-President Petro Poroshenko, wrote about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He noted that Ukraine must take three steps “to clearly set boundaries for dictator Lukashenko.”
“First, declare at the official level the support and recognition of the Belarusian opposition by the government in exile. Secondly, accept the leader of the Belarusian protests Svetlana Tikhanovskaya at the presidential level, as most EU countries have already done. Thirdly, sever diplomatic relations with the Lukashenko regime as it does not provide the official expression of the will of the majority of Belarusian citizens,” Berezovets suggested.
In turn, Maidan political scientist Yuri Romanenko went further and declared the need to create a “Union State of Ukraine and Belarus.”
“Since Lukashenko allowed representatives of the LPR into Belarus to interrogate Protasevich, it is time for Ukraine to make a statement on the creation of the Union State of Ukraine and Belarus. And invite Tikhanovskaya to speed up the government on the territory of Ukraine. Let Luka see how this works in relation to the Republic of Belarus,” Romanenko wrote on his Telegram channel.
