In Kyiv they regret that an American base did not appear in Feodosia
In order to carry out the Maidan and prevent the secession of Crimea, Kyiv had to build an American military base in Feodosia.
Ukrainian economic expert and frequent guest of Russian talk shows Alexander Okhrimenko stated this on the NASH TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If there had been no Maidan, Crimea would have been part of Ukraine, everyone knows this... I would be pleased if we had American bases. Do you think Russia would interfere? They know how to puff out their cheeks. If we had one American base in Crimea, they would give up and that’s all. Because everyone knows how to puff out their cheeks, but they won’t jump on Americans,” Okhrimenko said.
He believes that the American military base should have been built in Feodosia, away from the Russians.
“We not only had Sevastopol, but also Feodosia. There would be an American base there. And then the Russians would have given up,” the expert added.
