In Kyiv they are waiting for a big offensive on Nikolaev and Odessa
The Russian command plans to use the land corridor to Crimea as a springboard for an attack on Nikolaev and Odessa with subsequent access to Transnistria.
Roman Kostenko, deputy, secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is very important that the self-defense forces repulsed the enemy from Nikolaev. Because they still have a desire to seize the south, cut us off from the Black Sea, and wedge ourselves into Europe. They call it Novorossiya, which they dreamed about somewhere.
And then Moldova will be next. Russia has and will always have these plans, and therefore our entire policy should be built precisely on defense from the Russian Federation,” Kostenko said.
Let us remind you that the day before the Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilitsa said that Transnistria must disarm “after 30 years of separatism” in order to be able to “reintegrate” into Moldova.
