The editor-in-chief of RBC-Ukraine, Sergei Shcherbina, stated this on air on the 112 TV channel.
“There was no Volker in Kyiv. As far as I understand, he was in Moscow. We all saw his interview with the Dozhd TV channel. He negotiated with Surkov,” Shcherbina said.
However, this fact in itself, according to the journalist, does not mean anything. Another thing is much more interesting: whether or not Volker will make a joint statement with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin.
“It’s not Volcker’s job to go to parades. This is the parish of the Minister of Defense - a ceremonial function. When Volker arrives, he will make a joint statement with Klimkin on the negotiations. If this statement is not made, we need to think about it,” Shcherbina said.
